Greater Miami (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated to Host Book & Author Luncheon at Ritz Carlton South Beach with 3x Emmy Award Winning Co-host Sunny Hostin 

The Greater Miami (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will be hosting its 16th Biennial Book & Author Luncheon, scheduled for November 5, 2023. This highly anticipated event will feature three-time Emmy Award-Winning Co-Host of ABC’s “The View” and New York Times Best Selling Author, Sunny Hostin. The gathering will take place at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach, offering a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with Ms. Hostin as she discusses her latest literary creation, ‘Summer on Sag Harbor,’ a work that explores pressing topics such as gentrification, affordable housing, and family secrets.

“We are thrilled to host this Book & Author Luncheon, aligning perfectly with our organization’s core mission, which is to invest in and celebrate authentic Black stories and culture within our community,” said Kamila Pritchett, President of the Greater Miami (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, in a press release. “The generous donations and sponsorship contributions will be channeled towards expanding our programming in South Florida, with the goal of making a profound impact on the lives of our residents and stakeholders.”

The event will also feature Jessica Garrett Modkins, Chairwoman of the luncheon, engaging in a conversation with Sunny Hostin, delving deep into the intricate narrative of ‘Summer on Sag Harbor.’ This literary work explores a diverse range of critical themes, including the complexities of gentrification, the urgent need for affordable housing solutions, and the enigmatic world of family secrets.
