Soup and Champagne Celebrates Haiti’s Independence and Culture in the City of North Miami Beach

The Liberation Soup is back!

Soup is a long standing Haitian Kreyol tradition that symbolizes Independence, Freedom and Pride. January 1st of every new year celebrates the Independence of Haiti where a popular delicacy known as “Soup Joumou” is often served.

With the backdrop of food and celebration of bubbles, Soup and Champagne will usher in 2023 with the 4th Annual event on Sunday, January 1st, 2023 at the Ancient Spanish Monastery located 16711 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL from 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.

The 4th Annual Soup and Champagne All White Affair will kick off 2023 in grand style, art, food, music and culture for all to share. This year performing live is kompa sensations Kai and Enposib with music by DJ Bullet, Mr. Smoke, DJ Haitian Mike and DJ Bugz. All hosted by Haitian personalities Wanda of L’union Suite and Carel of Chokarella.
