Owner Bernard Small grew up in Miami, Fl, in the mid-80s, which was a rough time for many inner-city kids during that time. He founded Balt Vodka in 2019 and dreamed of making a premium Vodka that would challenge the mold of what a good Vodka is supposed to be! Smalls designed the bottle after his deceased friends; it represents their honorable transition into the afterlife.
