Born and raised in South Florida, artist Jai Demezier had many local influences. One of those influences includes his Haitian ethnicity that incorporates many vibrant colors, rich history and spirituality. Coming from a family of artist it was nearly impossible for Jai to not carry a pencil and sketch book—which he’d jot down anything creative that came to his mind. Jai tries not to confine or label himself to a particular art movement/genre but rather mix them together accordingly. Jai is a Broward College Alum, loving husband and devoted father. He is the owner of Jai Artistry, a creative art company, and sister company Easel Social Canvas, a mobile art and Entertainment company). In the summer of 2015, Jai worked on the Carol City Middle beautification project creating two murals, which now helps to beautify the 37TH Avenue thoroughfare. He decided to do this community project to get more involved and create an art outreach program that focuses on assisting the youth to aspire to their greatness.
