Black entrepreneurs are making history, with the number of Black-owned businesses up 30 percent since the pandemic, a new study finds. To help, we’ve compiled a list of resources available right now for Black-owned small businesses in Miami-Dade to help them grow and succeed.
Here are the grants, loans and training opportunities:
Training and Advice
- Free business advice and training with the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce
- Training program for women of color business owners in Miami
- Support and guidance for Black-owned businesses that sell on Amazon
- Business coaching and training program for black business owners
Grants
- $10,000 start-up grants for Black female founders and entrepreneurs
- Grants up to $2,000 for Black-owned, brick and mortar stores
- $2,500 grants for women of color-owned small businesses
- $500 micro-grant to grow or start a minority, women-owned small businesses
- $500 grant and mentorship for a new idea or to grow a business
Loans
