Councilman Reggie Leon to Feed Community with Free Meals from Lorna’s Caribbean & American Grille

COVID-19 is still proving to be an issue for many people with their finances in limbo from an unstable job market caused by the pandemic. As a result feeding your family can be a hassle for some. To help ease that burden, Miami Gardens Councilman Reggie Leon is hosting a free community thrive through lunch.

Residents will be treated to quality cuisine from the popular Lorna’s Caribbean & American Grille restaurant, located in Miami Gardens.

“This is just me supporting local business and being able to provide a hot meal to our deserving residents,” said Leon, who partnered with B.Lee Entertainment and Break the Cycle to host the community event.

The meals will be given out on a first come first serve basis and masks will be required for you to receive a meal. Residents are also encouraged to remain in their cars at all times and food will be given to you by a safe manner. Also for a speedy service, drivers should use the 199th street entrance to get to the restaurant.
