Felecia Hatcher’s New Coloring Book is All About “Motivational Sh*t”

Coloring books are not just for kids anymore. Adults have been getting back to their youthful days with coloring and mental health professionals say it’s a great way to relieve stress, improve your vision and help you sleep better. Felecia Hatcher’s new inspirational coloring book is made just for adults with a twist.

“I created an adult coloring book, for you, for us, for me, for these crazy times that we are in,” said Hatcher in an email release about her new book.

The coloring book, which has the dope titled of “Motivational Shit,” was created during this pandemic as a way to help ease our minds in these crazy times.

“If you are like me, I’ve been working on a lot of projects since the pandemic started, partly to keep my mind busy, but mostly because the world has not stopped working,” said Hatcher in her release. “In addition to homeschooling two kids — which almost took me out– and trying to make two very active parents stay home, and the myriad of other things that we are all dealing with during these times; I wanted to work on something fun, something that wasn’t necessary about saving the world, ending racist BS in tech, or helping people be more courageous…a.k.a my day jobs.”

Hatcher encourages you to color the pages, for a moment of f-ing calm, and a respite from adulting — something we can all use right now.

“We are in some crazy ass times, and what better way to not think about any thing then to download these beautifully crafted pages, pour yourself the most obnoxious glass of wine, or crown royal — if life has really been a shit show for you– and pull out your coloring pencils and fill these pages with beautiful bad bitch strokes,” said Hatcher’s release.
