THE LADIES OF VALOR EMPOWERMENT (L.O.V.E.) CELEBRATE NATIONAL WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH, EMPOWER WOMEN SEEKING EMPLOYMENT

LOVEHISTORY2 (1)In honor of Women’s History Month, two local non-profit will host a job fair in North Miami for women seeking employment on March 7.

The Ladies of Valor Empowerment Organization and The Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits will host an event; they call L.O.V.E. Empowerment Day, at Holy Cross Christian Day School, 650 NE 135th Street, North Miami, Florida 33161. The event will begin at 10 a.m.

The organizations are part of events kicking off throughout the U.S. this March aimed at helping women prepare as much as possible for employment.

L.O.V.E. founder, Alourdes Pierre, said this special event will inspire women, boosting their self-confidence so that they feel assured, confident and, most of all, employable.

“The L.O.V.E. organization is about education, empowerment and motivation,” she said. “There is no self-sufficiency without empowerment. This event aims at boosting the morale of the attendees so they can live this celebration, believe in themselves and get ready to join the Ladies of Valor Empowerment professional job readiness program in order to better themselves.”

The event is FREE and open to the public. For more information visit www.LadiesOfValorEmpowerment.org or call 786-463-5683.
